Job Description The purpose of the Security/ Facility Operations Assistant is to provide overall Security and general facilities support, under the guidance of the Security Operations Manager. This position will work with to provide a safe and secure work environment with ability to observe and report with an emphasis on the protection of people, property, products, and information from both internal and external threats. This is an unarmed Security position. Major duties and responsibilities that are critical and necessary for this position and its overall objective: • Monitor and implement established security and facility policies and procedures to all employees, guests and vendors which includes providing access capabilities, identification badges for control entry to the facility, and monitoring the facility and perimeter parking areas., • Make routine checks of facility ensuring safety and security. Complete interior and exterior building patrols 3-4 times each shift, noting any irregularities. Checking all secured area’s including computer and data rooms’, and electrical closets throughout AssistRx property., • Train and work within the Brivo security database or similar. Load access cards in the system when required, add/delete access as needed. Be able to run database reports when requested by the department Security Manager. Work with established access groups within the security database, • Provide assistance in all emergency situations such as fire alarms, tornado warnings, medical emergencies, etc. Serve as the point of contact and chief warden during drills and live emergency situations at the facility. Be Familiar with all assembly area’s and escape routes, and coordinate drills annually., • Assist HR and Security management on termination requests. Prepared to standby and give assistance as needed. Keep Security Management appraised and updated on all situations involving terminations. Ensure terminations are escorted from the building and leave the property, • The ability to generate and submit security incident reports as needed. Reports must be written and turned into Security Management in a timely manner., • Able to perform all aspects of the CCTV system within the facility.
