Job Description Stack Test Technician Location: Farmingdale, NY (Service area includes NYC and surrounding areas, up to 200-300 miles) Position Type: Full-time, Field and Office Work Experience Level: 1-3 years in stack testing Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Stack Test Technician with 1-3 years of experience in stack testing to join our team. This position involves both field and office work, including equipment maintenance, reporting test results, and data reduction for reports. The role requires a strong knowledge of EPA testing methods and the ability to work independently in the field. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to handle physically demanding tasks. Key Responsibilities: * Perform stack testing and ensure compliance with EPA testing methods (1-5, 7E, 10, 25A, 18, 29). * Conduct equipment maintenance and troubleshoot when needed. * Report test results and compile data for detailed reports. * Travel to various job sites, primarily in the NYC area, with occasional service within a 200-300-mile radius of Farmingdale. * Operate and maintain Thermo CEMs (experience with Thermo CEMs is a plus). * Use 320 FTIR for analysis (experience with FTIR is a plus). * Perform work at heights and lift up to 45 pounds. * Drive the company van and pull a lab trailer to job sites.
