Our lab harnesses mouse genetics and state-of-the-art multi-omics techniques, including bulk RNA-seq, single-cell RNA-seq, spatial transcriptomics, ChIP-seq, and CLIP-seq, to map out the intricate cardiac gene regulation network orchestrated by transcription factors and RNA-binding proteins. Through our research, we aim to shed light on the molecular mechanisms underlying heart diseases such as left ventricular noncompaction (LVNC), thereby paving the way for pioneering therapeutic interventions. About the PI Dr. Tongbin Wu obtained B.S. and Ph.D. from Wuhan University in China, under the guidance of Dr. Xiang-Dong Fu, a world-renowned expert in RNA biology. Our dedicated team of more than 45 sheltering, medical, and animal behavior professionals work closely with the ASPCA Animal Hospital, Forensics, Legal Advocacy and Investigations, Behavioral Sciences, Shelter Medicine Services, Community Engagement, Placement, and the Adoption Center teams to ensure coordinated response and operations, and holistic, balanced, high-quality care for the animals we serve. The Director of Veterinary Services, ARC will perform all the duties of a licensed veterinarian, including providing compassionate, high-quality, practical veterinary care to a wide range of cruelty, neglect, and at-risk animals. In addition, the Director will provide a management presence on the floor to ensure efficient and effective animal flow. The Director will hold the entire team accountable to act with urgency, providing balanced, high-quality care to the animals, coordinating with departments, and practicing Fear Free values. This position directly manages 1-2 Licensed Veterinary Technicians. Job Description CABVI is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to assist the Accounts Receivable team with routine, monthly and periodic billings, invoicing, collection procedures, and other various tasks in a timely manner. Responsibilities Include: • Complete daily SPS billing entries and ensure all information is accurate in a timely manner., • On a monthly basis, review past due invoices on aging schedule to ensure that they have been entered into SPS. If not found, perform the necessary steps to enter them and/or follow up on issues as needed., • Complete agency miscellaneous and recurring billings including invoicing for service contracts, business services, insurance balances, membership dues, waste removal, and any other agency billing needs., • Mail or email invoices as needed per customer and respond to customer requests for duplicate copies of documentation in a timely manner. Confirm billing delivery method and contact information and update in the software as needed., • Send monthly statements to customers with invoices as needed., • Review accounts receivable aging schedule and follow up on outstanding customer accounts by researching unpaid invoices or discrepancies in payments.
