We are seeking a Product Sales Engineer to join our high-performance team supporting the sales and application of custom and benchmark electro-mechanical equipment across industries such as food & beverage, packaging, and water/wastewater treatment. This role bridges the gap between engineering and sales—combining technical expertise, client engagement, and commercial strategy to support field sales teams, drive customer satisfaction, and grow market share. Who You Are: You’re a technically savvy professional with a background in equipment manufacturing, Packaging, Food & Bev, process systems, or water treatment solutions—ready to leverage your knowledge into consultative sales support. You enjoy collaborating across departments, mentoring others, and solving problems creatively. Preferred Backgrounds: • Electro-mechanical systems, • Capital equipment (packaging, processing, filtration, or automation), • Water/Wastewater systems, • Process equipment for industrial or municipal markets Degree preferred: Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Systems Engineering (Associate or Bachelor’s level), or equivalent technical experience. Key Responsibilities Technical Sales Support • Partner with Field Sales Representatives to analyze customer requirements, recommend solutions, and configure systems that align with performance and budget goals., • Serve as the subject matter expert for specialized equipment and develop competitive product positioning., • Assist in proposal development, quote generation, and pricing strategy for complex systems., • Mentor and train Field Sales Representatives in product capabilities, sales strategies, and competitive differentiators., • Analyze industry trends and competitive data to help identify market opportunities and enhance sales strategy., • Maintain accurate, professional documentation of sales activities, client communications, and engineering support., • Provide feedback to product development and marketing teams to drive continuous improvement. Qualifications • 3–5+ years of experience in technical sales, application engineering, or product management within a capital equipment or electro-mechanical manufacturing environment., • Strong understanding of custom machinery or engineered system design., • Familiarity with CAD platforms, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or HubSpot), and project tracking tools., • Demonstrated success supporting or leading complex sales engagements., • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer relationship-building skills., • Willingness to travel (up to 5%) and perform light hands-on tasks as needed for product demos or events.
