American Traveler is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel job in St. Louis, Missouri. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 05/04/2026, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 8 hours, days, • Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview • Shift: Days, 5x8hrs, • Hours: 40 hrs/wk, • Start Date: May 4, 2026, • Length: 13 weeks, • Acute care hospital setting with 233 staffed beds, • Nuclear Medicine department with up to 12 cases per day across all three rooms, • Procedures include stress tests/studies, hepatobiliary, V/Q scans, thyroid, parathyroid, GI, bone scans, sentinel nodes, and I-131 therapies (non-therapeutic), • Charting via Epic (experience required), • 5x8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, on a rotating schedule (7:00–15:30, 7:30–16:00, 8:00–16:30, or 8:30–17:00), • No on-call or call requirements, • Floating within clinical scope may be required per facility policy, • No floating to sister facilities required, • Free parking on-siteRequirements, • Minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience, • RT(N) or CNMT certification required, • Valid Missouri state license required for consideration; Illinois candidates may be considered with a pending IL license, • BLS required, • Experience with Epic EMR required, • Proficiency with stress tests/studies, hepatobiliary, V/Q scans, thyroid, parathyroid, GI, bone scans, sentinel nodes, and I-131 therapies, • Ability to work independently and open/close a department, • Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not acceptedAdditional Information, • First-time travelers are welcome to apply, • Pewter/gray scrubs required, • RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation, • Allied travelers may remain on assignment for up to 12 months, after which a 6-month break in service is required With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
