ABOUT THE ROLE The Assistant Aquatics Director, under the supervision of the Aquatics Director, is responsible for ensuring our lifeguard operations, swim instruction, and boating run smoothly. Working with a staff of 100 swim instructor/lifeguards spread across three pool complexes (seven pools in total), the Assistant Aquatics Director is responsible for ensuring a structored, supporting and enriching environment exists for the aquatics staff as they lifeguard and teach swim effectively for 1500 campers daily. • CAMP DATES: June 25 - August 14, • SALARY: $8000, • HOURS: Mon - Fri 8:00am - 4:15pm The AAD works in collaboration with the Aquatics Director insuring the safety of the pool deck at all times, with proper supervision and adhering to DOH regulations. Shift hours are on event days (approximately 60 events from May through October), from 9pm - 5am.
