Job Description The HR Operations Manager serves as the primary administrator of our UKG Pro (UltiPro) system and supports key HR operations. This role is responsible for ensuring system accuracy, data integrity, and security while delivering reporting and analytics to drive business decisions. This position will also provide payroll backup support, maintain compliance reporting, and partner with HR, Payroll, and IT to streamline processes through automation and system enhancements. In addition, this role contributes to HR operations by supporting benefits, onboarding, performance management, workers’ compensation, and other initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, compliance, and the employee experience. Essential Functions: UKG Pro Administration • Serve as the primary administrator for UKG Pro (UltiPro), ensuring system accuracy, data integrity, and security., • Configure, test, and maintain system functionality, workflows, and modules., • Partner with HR, Payroll, and IT to troubleshoot issues and implement system enhancements., • Manage user access, security roles, and permissions. Reporting & Analytics • Design, build, and maintain custom UKG Pro reports to support HR, payroll, compliance, and business needs., • Provide data-driven insights and workforce analytics to support decision-making., • Develop dashboards and metrics to monitor HR performance indicators (turnover, headcount, engagement, compliance, etc.)., • Develop and issue employee surveys within system and provide detailed result analytics., • Ensure timely and accurate submission of compliance and regulatory reporting requirements. Payroll Support • Act as a payroll back-up to ensure continuity of payroll processing when needed., • Assist with payroll data audits, reconciliations, and corrections., • Partner with the Payroll Administrator to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with wage and hour laws. HR Operations & Process Improvement • Streamline HR processes through automation, system improvements, and best practices., • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to support benefits administration, onboarding, performance management, and other HR functions. Workers’ Compensation Administration • Serve as the primary administrator for workers’ compensation claims and reporting., • Maintain accurate records of claims, incidents, and communications for compliance and audit purposes., • Track claim status, costs, and trends to support risk management and cost-containment strategies., • Provide reporting and analytics on workers’ compensation activity to identify areas for safety improvement and risk reduction., • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local workers’ compensation regulations. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience)., • 3–5 years of HRIS/HR Systems experience, 2+ with UKG Pro (UltiPro)., • Experience in HR operations, payroll, or workers’ compensation administration strongly preferred., • Strong Excel skills with the ability to interpret data and present actionable insights., • Knowledge of HR compliance requirements, including wage and hour laws, reporting, and workers’ compensation regulations., • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills., • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs., • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality Work Authorization/Security Clearance Must be eligible to work in the United States. Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000 annually
