Sunday Operations Team Member, Redeemer Presbyterian Church, Lincoln Square DEPARTMENT: Operations REPORTS TO: Operations Coordinator DATE: Immediate + training prior to start date HOURS WORKED: 5.5 to 6 hours every Sunday COMPENSATION: $25/hr POSITION SUMMARY: Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) up and down multiple flights of stairs and be on your feet for a good part of the shift. We are hiring a Team Member who can who can join us every Sunday, starting promptly at 7am. We provide a safe, efficient worship experience for Redeemer’s Sunday services. Sunday Operations Staff members assist the Operations Coordinator in setting up equipment, furniture and signage, completing delegated tasks, and proactively finding solutions to problems. Then Sunday Operations Staff members assist with breaking down and cleaning up after service. JOB DESCRIPTION: Setup and teardown of all equipment and assets on stage and throughout the building. This includes transporting sound and audio equipment, placement of signs, setup for our volunteers and Coffee Hour, and more. Disinfect and clean commonly used items such as tables, carts, equipment, etc. Maintain an organized and clean storage room. Monitor worship service attendance. Run errands as needed. REQUIREMENTS: ^ Be available each Sunday from 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. ^ Arrive on time. ^ Take direction and respond well to supervision. ^ Attend mandatory meetings and training sessions to review policies & procedures. ^ Work on Easter and during the winter holidays (around Christmas/New Year's). ^ A commitment to serve more than one year from start date.
