RESPONSIBILITIES • Act as a strategic facilitator for origination and execution of framework agreements with utilities and corporate energy buyers., • Serve as an internal advisor and problem solver, recommending alternative approaches when regulatory, procurement, or planning hurdles arise., • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure strategies align with counterpart procurement, IRP, and regulatory requirements., • Monitor regulatory, policy, and market developments to anticipate approval challenges and adjust strategies proactively., • Build and maintain relationships with utilities, regulators, and other key stakeholders to position the company as a trusted partner. QUALIFICATIONS • 7–10+ years of experience in the U.S. energy sector, with exposure to utility procurement, regulatory affairs, or large-scale origination., • Direct experience with utility RFPs, contract negotiations, and regulatory filings (e.g., PUCs) strongly preferred., • Deep understanding of IOU and corporate buyer processes, including procurement, IRP alignment, and regulatory approvals., • Strong problem-solving skills with a proven ability to translate counterpart organizational challenges into actionable solutions., • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal functions., • Excellent executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills., • Prior experience working inside an IOU procurement, resource planning, or regulatory team., • Background in regulatory affairs, energy policy, or external affairs related to renewable development., • Strong professional network with IOUs, regulators, and policy stakeholders.
