Job Description Overview • Provides general and detailed maintenance (either with direct or indirect supervision), including patching, painting, hardware repairs, and other repair/replacement work as required., • Performs routine facility and medical equipment maintenance., • Dedicates some hours every week to assisting with general office work related to the work request system and ordering supplies and materials, completing digital work orders and pre-planning for the following week’s duties., • Performs routine inspections of assigned buildings and spaces to ensure execution of preventative maintenance schedule., • Assists, or performs solo when needed, general and detailed cleaning of all work interior and exterior spaces., • Follows the Facilities Work Order System., • Completes all documentation for work performed in a timely manner., • Oversees and performs the duties associated with events, including executing the set-up plan in a timely manner, completing break-downs on schedule, and returning spaces to their normal state., • Preferred but not required, Carpentry and other related skills like medical installation, • Other duties as assigned. SHARED TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES • Operate company van (Valid CA Driver's license required.), • Respond to emergency call-ins outside of scheduled work hours., • Assists and serves as backup to other Facilities employees., • Helps to maintain adequate custodial supply stocks & Emergency Kits., • Maintains appropriate service and repair records., • Serves in the rotation of weekend on-call personnel., • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, physical, and a background check to include a 7-year criminal, 10-year SSN & employer history reference check., • Must be able to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination on the first day of work., • Excellent interpersonal skills., • Attention to detail., • Must be able to work flexible schedules. Must be able to read, write and speak the English language fluently. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Must have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public in person. Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as dollar totals, monetary conversions, discounts, interest, fractions, decimals, percentages, area, and volume. Reasoning Ability Ability to solve technical and practical problems and deal with various intangibles in situations where only limited communication, support, information, and access exist. Ability to interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Computer Skills: Must have good computer skills and be proficient in the use of systems to complete correspondence, documents, spreadsheets, and presentations, such as Microsoft Outlook and Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
