Do it, • One Team, One Community, • Relentless Improvement, Courageous Joy, • Pride in Every PersonPOSITION OVERVIEW: Community Partnerships Lead: The Community Partnerships Lead is responsible for building, managing, and expanding strategic relationships with community-based organizations, advocacy groups, healthcare partners, and other key stakeholders to advance the mission and impact of the organization. This role serves as a primary external ambassador, strengthening community trust, increasing awareness of services, and driving mutually beneficial collaborations that support patient access, health equity, and organizational growth. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Partnership Development & Management • Identify, cultivate, and maintain strong partnerships with community organizations, nonprofits, healthcare providers, employers, and advocacy groups., • Serve as the primary point of contact for select external partners, ensuring consistent communication and follow-through., • Develop partnership strategies aligned with organizational goals, patient needs, and community priorities., • Negotiate and manage memoranda of understanding (MOUs) and partnership agreements as needed.Community Engagement & Outreach, • Represent the organization at community events, health fairs, conferences, and stakeholder meetings., • Collaborate with internal teams to plan and execute outreach initiatives that increase visibility and service utilization., • Strengthen the organization’s presence within underserved and historically marginalized communities., • Act as a trusted liaison between the organization and the communities it serves.Strategic Planning & Collaboration, • Work cross-functionally with clinical, marketing, operations, and leadership teams to align partnerships with service offerings and capacity., • Identify opportunities for joint programming, referrals, education, and advocacy., • Track partnership outcomes and provide regular reporting on engagement, impact, and return on investment.Advocacy & Relationship Building, • Promote the organization’s mission, values, and services in a clear, culturally responsive, and inclusive manner., • Stay informed about community needs, trends, and gaps in services. Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in public health, communications, social work, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience., • 3–5 years of experience in community partnerships, fundraising, outreach, business development, or nonprofit engagement., • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain long-term relationships with diverse stakeholders., • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills., • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.Preferred Qualifications, • Experience working in healthcare, nonprofit, or mission-driven organizations., • Familiarity with LGBTQ+ communities, health equity initiatives, or underserved populations., • Knowledge of referral networks, community-based services, and local resources., • Experience with CRM systems or partnership tracking tools.Work Experience, • Required: Previous experience in community outreach/public health, with direct engagement of diverse populations, or fundraising/development roles., • Experience working with LGBTQ+ communities, people living with HIV, or other underserved populations strongly preferred.Licenses and Certifications, • Valid Driver’s License (required)., • Must be able to obtain an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card during background check process.
