Job DescriptionSalary: $25-$30 per hour Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Hayward, CA Position Summary The Warehouse Associate & Delivery Driver is responsible for performing a wide range of warehouse operations while also supporting local product deliveries. This role ensures efficient receiving, inventory management, material flow, and on-time distribution to customers. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while balancing warehouse and delivery responsibilities. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Warehouse Operations • Perform a variety of duties associated with maintaining the warehouse, including receiving, stocking, distributing, and inventorying supplies and equipment, • Ensure customer service standards are met, including on-time shipments and complete, accurate order fulfillment, • Monitor the unloading of all materials into receiving areas; ensure materials are properly staged for counting and inspection, • Ensure receiving reports accurately reflect materials received, • Resolve discrepancies with accounting related to invoices, packing slips, and receiving reports, • Monitor the flow of paperwork from Receiving to Inventory Control to ensure timely and accurate data entry, • Oversee the movement of materials from Receiving to the Warehouse in a safe, efficient, and effective manner, • Manage finished goods inventory to minimize spoilage, damage, and inventory adjustments, • Supply materials to Production and stage materials for mixing or operational use, • Ensure materials are stored properly to maximize space and maintain compliance with safety procedures, • Oversee inventory rotation using First In-First-Out (FIFO) practices, • Ensure warehouse equipment is maintained and in proper working condition, • Maintain organization and cleanliness of warehouse and docks in compliance with GMP standards Delivery & Distribution • Assist with local customer deliveries and product distribution, • Load and unload delivery vehicles while ensuring product integrity and safety, • Ensure delivery schedules are followed and communicate any delays or issues, • Verify delivery accuracy and maintain proper documentation, • Support alignment of delivery schedules with inventory and production planning Quality, Safety & Compliance • Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, housekeeping, GMP, OSHA, and food safety standards, • Wear required safety equipment, including hearing protection and safety glasses, • Conduct quality inspections on processes, raw materials, and finished products, • Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with health, sanitation, Organic, Non-GMO, and Kosher procedures, • Understand and support safety performance goals and injury prevention initiatives Cross-Functional Support • Assist other departments as required, • Learn and perform multiple tasks across different production and warehouse areas, • Promote a respectful, harassment-free work environment, • Support operational alignment between warehouse, production, and sales functions Qualifications • Valid U.S. Drivers License (required), • Forklift Certification (required), • Previous warehouse and/or delivery experience preferred, • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with team members, • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and manage multiple priorities Physical Requirements • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly, • Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment Work Environment • Fast-paced warehouse and production setting with varying conditions, • Regular exposure to warehouse equipment and operational noise, • Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
