Overview: Vacation Replacement Cleaners will provide vacation coverage in our Midtown properties from approximately March 1 to November 1, 2026. Please note this position has a limited term of five months with the opportunity for long-term retention based on business needs and performance evaluation.Candidate will create a positive experience by providing superior customer service to building tenants and guests. About The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Cost Accountant to play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our financial operations. In this role, you will work closely with Operations, Production, and Supply Chain teams to ensure inventory accuracy, drive cost efficiency, and support strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for analyzing production costs, reconciling inventory, preparing for audits, and contributing to budgeting and forecasting processes. What You’ll Do • Collaborate with Operations on inventory management to ensure all inventory is reconciled and accurately reflected on the balance sheet for upcoming audits., • Oversee inventory valuation, reconciliation processes, and actively support Operations in resolving discrepancies., • Prepare and organize cost and inventory documentation for external auditors, supporting the financial audit process., • Partner with Operation, Production, and Supply Chain teams to drive improvements in inventory controls and cost efficiency., • Analyze production costs, including materials, labor, and overhead, and compare them to standard or budgeted costs. Investigate and explain variances to management, identifying root causes and recommending solutions., • Assist in the month-end close process related to cost of goods sold (COGS) and inventory. This includes preparing and posting journal entries and conducting account reconciliations., • Play a critical role in developing the annual budget and cost forecasts.
