Job Description OVERVIEW We are partnering with a travel and hospitality industry client to hire a Senior Technical Project Manager. This role is based in Westlake Village, California (initial onboarding 2–3 weeks onsite, with occasional travel to HQ as needed) and will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO). This role sits at the intersection of business and technology, with a strong emphasis on partnering with non-technical stakeholders, business leaders, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to drive key initiatives forward. You will play a critical role in translating business priorities into structured execution plans, ensuring alignment across teams, and delivering measurable outcomes. This is a high-autonomy role on a lean team, ideal for a self-directed professional who thrives in ambiguity, builds strong relationships across the organization, and takes full ownership of delivery from end to end. Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship • Start Date: ASAP, • Duration: Contract to Hire (initial 6 months), • Location: Westlake Village, CA (Hybrid), • Rate: $85/hr to $110/hr DOE RESPONSIBILITIES Business Partnership & Delivery Execution • Partner closely with business leaders, operations teams, and SMEs to understand priorities, define scope, and translate needs into actionable plans, • Own the full project lifecycle from intake through delivery, including planning, execution, and post-implementation follow-up, • Drive alignment across stakeholders, ensuring clarity on goals, timelines, and deliverables, • Partner with Product Management to define and document requirements for engineering teams, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical solutions, • Lead and coordinate CI/CD pipeline implementation with the offshore India team, including project planning, milestone tracking, and delivery oversight, • Serve as the primary point of contact across business and technical teams, managing expectations at all levels of the organization, • Communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders, simplifying complex concepts into business-relevant insights, • Provide executive-level updates to the COO and leadership team, including status, risks, and recommendations, • Coordinate across cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Operations, and external partners, • Work effectively with distributed teams across multiple time zones (US, India, and others), ensuring alignment and continuity, • Establish clear project plans, milestones, and success metrics aligned with business objectives, • Lead Agile ceremonies where appropriate, while adapting to the needs of the team and organization, • Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance delivery efficiency, and drive better outcomes, • Maintain structured documentation, reporting, and governance practices QUALIFICATIONS Required • 7–10 years of experience in project or program management within software, digital, or platform-driven environments, • Strong experience working with business stakeholders, operations teams, and SMEs, translating business needs into execution plans, • Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced environments, • Experience working with distributed/global teams, including offshore coordination, • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence non-technical audiences and senior leadership, • Experience in travel, hospitality, or e-commerce environments, • Familiarity with platform, cloud, or DevOps environments (from a delivery/coordination perspective, not hands-on), • PMP, CSM, or similar certification, • Strong relationship builder with the ability to influence without authority, • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and navigating evolving priorities, • High ownership mindset—drives outcomes and follows through, • Organized, structured, and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities, • Positive, resilient, and adaptable in a dynamic environmentWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
