Paraprofessional Job Description Position Title: Paraprofessional Location: Lennox California Position Type: Per Diem Pay Rate: $29.00 per hour Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to support teachers and students in a classroom setting. The Paraprofessional will assist with instructional activities, provide one-on-one or small group support, and help create a positive learning environment for students with varying educational and behavioral needs. Responsibilities: • Assist teachers with daily classroom activities and lesson implementation, • Provide academic support to students individually or in small groups, • Support students with behavioral, social, and emotional needs, • Help maintain a safe, organized, and positive classroom environment, • Monitor student progress and communicate observations to teachers and staff, • Assist with classroom preparation, instructional materials, and administrative tasks, • Support students during transitions, lunch, recess, and other school activities, • Follow school policies, procedures, and student confidentiality guidelines Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required, • Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting preferred, • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and students, • Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude, • Ability to pass required background checks and clearances Schedule • Per Diem / As-Needed basis, • School-day hours may vary depending on assignment Compensation: • $29.00 per hour We welcome individuals who are passionate about supporting student success and creating a positive educational experiences #p34
