Job Description Summary We are representing a well-established commercial general contractor seeking a driven Assistant Superintendent to support field operations on high-profile ground-up, commercial, and multifamily construction projects. This role is ideal for someone who understands the importance of paperwork, logistics, and field coordination—and is ready to grow into a full Superintendent role over time. You’ll work directly with the lead Superintendent and Project Manager to keep the jobsite running smoothly, on time, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities • Support the Superintendent with daily field operations and jobsite logistics, • Coordinate subcontractor activities and assist with scheduling and site planning, • Help enforce safety protocols and document compliance during daily walks, • Maintain and update field documentation including RFIs, submittals, and change orders, • Track material deliveries, site inspections, and ongoing work progress, • Assist with quality control, punch walks, and closeout procedures, • Contribute to daily reports, look-ahead schedules, and field team communications, • Utilize Procore, Bluebeam, and other project management tools to document and track progress, • Attend project meetings with owners, architects, and consultants when needed, • Serve as a liaison between field and office teams to ensure seamless project execution Qualifications • 2–5 years of experience in construction, ideally in an Assistant Superintendent, Field Engineer, or Field PE role, • Experience supporting commercial, multifamily, or large-scale TI/ground-up construction projects, • Familiarity with reading and interpreting plans, specs, and shop drawings, • Strong understanding of jobsite sequencing, subcontractor coordination, and site safety practices, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong time management, • Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Office, and project scheduling tools, • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred but not required Compensation + Benefits • Competitive base salary depending on experience, • Medical, dental, and vision coverage, • 401(k) with company match, • Paid time off, sick time, and holidays, • Company phone, laptop, and mileage reimbursement (if applicable), • Career development and advancement opportunities into Superintendent roles
