Senior Sustainability Consultant As a Senior Sustainability Consultant at Kinetic Communities Consulting Corporation (KC3), you will have the opportunity to impact communities and organizations seeking to create a more sustainable future. Job Overview As a Senior Sustainability Consultant, you will lead a portfolio of consulting projects primarily for government and utility clients. You will work closely with clients to plan, manage, and implement community driven energy projects in New York. You will also be a subject matter expert providing outreach and direct technical assistance to participants in larger government and utility programs. Responsibilities Project Lead Lead projects from inception to completion, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met Collaborate with clients to understand their goals and develop tailored strategies Analyze data and trends to provide actionable recommendations Identify and engage community-based organization partners to co-create project deliverables Design stakeholder engagement and communication efforts related to initiatives Develop and present information to various audiences, including internal team and external stakeholders Conduct research and compile reports and memos Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to improve our services continuously Subject Matter Expert (Outreach) Provide subject matter expertise to multifamily building decision-makers, residents, trade allies, and other program participants Work closely with program implementation teams and partners to identify and develop initiatives that advance decarbonization goals Engage and recruit potential program participants Review and assess clean energy scopes of work in affordable multifamily buildings Conduct analysis and benchmarking of building energy consumption and building characteristics Research regulatory compliance pathways for assigned projects The tasks listed above are representative of work that is typical for this role and are subject to change based on client program and project needs. About You The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of work experience, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a passion for environmental, social, and economic justice. Green Top Farms was founded by a farmer-turned-public-school-teacher who was troubled by the lack of fresh, nutritious foods for many New York families. For the last ten years we have built a high volume food service, catering and delivery business. Throughout that time we have remained deeply involved in working to provide better food resources and education for school children, food pantries, and the broader community. What You’ll Do: - Responsible for managing daily food service in a corporate office setting, including receiving deliveries, stocking pantries, plating foods. - Responsible for maintaining a food safe and sanitary environment for food service that meets safe food handling guidelines. - Performing basic food preparation tasks, which include washing, peeling, and cutting fruit and vegetables, seasoning and slicing meats, and preparing sauces and salads. - Setting up and breaking down dining and buffet areas as per the catering manager's instructions. - Ensuring all tableware and chafing dishes are properly cleaned and sanitized before each service and/or catering event. Appropriately storing all equipment at the end of service. - Assisting in loading and unloading food, tableware, and catering supplies onto and off catering vehicles. - Must be willing to work and commute to multiple sites in Manhattan. - Dish washing duties depending on assigned site. Immediate opening for full time, School Nurse at Therapy and Learning Center, Inc. Park Slope, Brooklyn - Perform duties of School Nurse in Special Education preschool for 3-5 year olds. Work with staff, parents, students, doctors, and outside school services as needed. The services provided by the School Nurse focus on the prevention of illness, injury, and the early detection of health problems. - Comply with all NYC Department of Health, NYS Education Department, and NYC Department of Education regulations as pertains to the students in our preschool. - Must possess excellent organization and assessment skills - Serve as a Health Coordinator for the school community - Must have New York State License as a Registered Nurse - Must have 2-5 years of pediatric experience, preschool experience is a plus - Must have current CPR certificate Appropriate recording of incidents, injuries, infections and all other correspondents of risk management Monitor/Assess children with health issues, i.e., respiratory, seizures Maintain daily log on the administration of medication to children Maintain log on each incident, illness that occurs during the school day.
