Job DescriptionSalary: $26-28/hourly Impact Environmental has an immediate opening for a motivated Environmental professional reporting to our Bellmawr, NJ office. A large part of the position will be on job sites around New Jersey and NYC. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Knowledge of New Jersey State Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) regulations and guidance., • Assist in ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations., • Perform and manage technical tasks such as fieldwork, including sampling, operations and maintenance of remedial systems., • Well installation, soil boring, drilling and construction oversight., • Compile and evaluate data and assist in report preparation., • Work within quality/budget/schedule expectations and scope-specific assignments., • Communicate with subcontractors, regulatory agents, tenants, and clients during field activities., • Report writing on environmental projects in the public and private sector., • Participate in functions involving contact with client representatives., • Work/coordinate/communicate with project team personnel. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelors degree in civil or environmental engineering, geology, or environmental science is required., • Direct experience in essential duties listed above, including demonstrated ability in technical writing., • Direct experience in preparing documents such as Phase I and II ESAs, PAs, SIRs, RIRs, RAWs, RARs, and SPCCs is a plus., • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required; knowledge of computer-based CADD a plus., • OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training and current 8-hour refresher training are strongly preferred., • Strong oral and written communication/interpersonal skills are a must, as well as the ability to thrive in a professional and team-oriented work environment., • Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently., • Candidate must possess a valid drivers license in good standing., • Must be willilng to submit to drug and background screening.
