Job Description Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility in New York, NY 10128. This is a 3+ month contract assignment (convertible to permanent based on your work performance). and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Specific Duties: • Performs authorised procedures competently (i.e. vital signs, vision screening, selected laboratory tests, Blood drawing) as directed by the physician. Directs and/or escorts patients to exam rooms promptly, cleaning exam rooms. Qualifications: • 1-3 Years of Clinic Experience Required, • High school graduate or GED equivalent, • Medical Assistant Certification, • Basic computer literacy required, with intermediate Excel skills, • Knowledge of medical terminology required Must have qualifications/experience: • High school graduate or GED equivalent, • Certified/Registered Medical Assistant, • BLS for healthcare providers Additional Information: • Location: 1111 Park Ave, New York, NY 10128, • Job Type: 3+ months contract to hire, • Schedule: Monday through Friday, • Shift start & end times: Monday-Friday, 9am - 5pm / 10am - 6pm / 10:30am -6:30pm, • Workdays per week: 5 days, • Pay Range: $18-23/hrs. on W2 without benefits *Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
