Job Title: Clinic Office Manager Location: Honolulu, HI 96817 Pay Rate: $35.00–$37.50 per hour (W2) Duration: 2 months (Temporary, with possible Temp-to-Hire) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (Saturdays may be required) Certification Required: Medical Assistant (MA) Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Clinic Office Manager to oversee the daily operations and administration of a busy medical clinic in Honolulu. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and organizational skills, proven experience managing clinical staff, and a solid understanding of medical operations and compliance. The Clinic Office Manager ensures the clinic runs efficiently by coordinating staff activities, maintaining high-quality patient care, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with privacy and safety standards. Key Responsibilities • Manage day-to-day clinic operations, including staff scheduling, task coordination, and workflow optimization., • Oversee hiring, onboarding, performance management, and timekeeping for all clinic staff., • Coach, mentor, and train employees to support professional growth and team success., • Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service and care., • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other regulatory standards., • Monitor clinic metrics and budgets, ensuring performance goals are met., • Respond to patient, provider, and customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally., • Oversee facility upkeep, safety audits, and equipment inspections., • Assist with front-office duties as needed, including scheduling, check-ins, and record management., • Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with internal and external requirements. Required Competencies • Strong leadership and team management skills., • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities., • High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail., • Ability to analyze and interpret data to drive performance improvements., • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with medical software systems., • Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical workflows. Education and Experience • Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent experience., • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in an occupational, general, or internal medicine setting., • At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience preferred., • Current Medical Assistant certification (required)., • Additional credentials such as LVN, LPN, RN, BSN, EMT, or Military Medic are a plus., • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required., • Ability to obtain Occupational Hearing Conservationist (OHC) certification within 90 days of hire., • Must pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation., • Valid driver’s license required., • Willingness to complete annual Respiratory Fit testing and comply with safety protocols.
