Job DescriptionSalary: Commensurate with Experience Duties and Responsibilities: • Demonstrates proficiency in conducting comprehensive research, drafting, finalizing, recording, and filing documents with the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs (DCCA), Bureau of Conveyance (BOC), Real Property and Tax offices, and electronically filing with the Land Court, Probate, and Small Estates courts., • Provides support to attorneys by reviewing and finalizing corporate, estate planning, real estate, trust, and tax forms and documents. Communicates effectively and professionally with clients, courts, and government agencies, and ensuring confidentiality at all times. • Manages calendars and tracks deadlines, ensures compliance with court rules and procedures, performs efficiently under pressure, and organizes and maintains case files., • Successfully navigates Hawaii Information Service (HIS), CSC e-recording, and e-filing with the BOC preferred., • Possesses foundational accounting skills., • Properly tracks billable hours and submits daily timesheets., • Exhibits a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, proofreading skills, reliability, and the ability to follow through and complete tasks assigned., • Displays strong time-management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail, and a demonstrated capacity for multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively. Qualifications: • Minimum 3 years of local experience in transactional, business, corporate, real estate, tax, estate planning and/or probate law., • Proficient in Windows 11 and Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Outlook Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access., • Working knowledge of Prolaw and Kofax Power PDF Advanced preferred but not required., • Capability of working collaboratively within a team and independently when necessary., • Holds a Notary Public commission or is willing to become a Notary Public. Education: • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
