Job Description Torden LLC is seeking a part-time, on-call, qualified, experienced professional Japanese Interpreter to support a two-week training exercise, starting in Spring 2026, to Fall 2026. The interpreter must be able to provide consecutive interpretation for Japanese Defense Force sailors participating in the exercise, as such knowledge and understanding of military and naval terminology is preferred. Japanese Interpreter must be flexible and willing to work long days to support the training schedule. Japanese Interpreter must be willing and able to adhere to a rigorous training schedule, which may require standing or sitting for long periods of time. Training may encompass realistic scenarios. Interpreter must be flexible and able to adapt to changing environment according to the training schedule. Key Responsibilities * Prepare, format, and proofread audit reports, consulting deliverables, presentations, and proposals. * Draft and finalize proposals and statements of qualifications for new business development. * Manage document production tasks: word processing, spreadsheet formatting, printing, copying, and assembly. * Coordinate project timelines, task lists, and team follow-up to keep deliverables on schedule. * Collaborate with partners, managers, and design vendors to ensure clarity and quality. * Maintain and update proposal templates and intranet site. * Support technical writing and documentation for training purposes. * Assist with general office functions and process improvement initiatives.
