Our Mālama Mentors program trains and pairs caring high school students and adults with elementary and middle school students who need someone to believe in them. Each week, mentors and mentees meet for one hour over 21-25 weeks, building genuine relationships that change lives. The Role: The Area School Partnership Coordinator (SPC) is the heartbeat of our mentoring program across multiple schools. You'll facilitate weekly mentoring sessions, train and mentor high school leaders, build relationships with school partners, and ensure every child in your care experiences the transformative power of CAKE. This isn't a desk job. This is boots-on-the-ground work where you'll see immediate impact every single week. Toe room is present, but workers are unable to flex their knees while standing at this station. Duration of this position is approximately 30 - 45 seconds at one time, repeated continuously during the day. Forward bending is also present at the front counter and when stocking ingredients. Crouching/Squatting Performed occasionally to stock shelves and to clean low areas. Reaching Reaching is performed continuously; up, down and forward.
