Job Description Department: Sales Job Status: Full Time FLSA Status: Exempt Reports To: Sales Director Job Type: Non-Union Amount of Travel Required: Occasional/ Neighbor Island Only Work Schedule: Typically Monday – Friday Positions Supervised: None May work weekends, evenings, holidays when required POSITION SUMMARY The Account Manager-Foodservice will manage day-to-day relationships with our distributor partners and customers in the restaurant, hotel, convenience store and commercial food business sectors in Hawai’i. This will include maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction with our current customers. In addition, the position will call on new business leads to help growth the business. Must be a people person with strong selling skills and relationships within the Hawai’i foodservice industry. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Essential Functions Statement(s) • Communicate to distributors and specified customers regarding products, prices, availability, product uses and training., • Generate and close new business opportunities, • Consult with customers and company team members to resolve problems, • Recommend products to customers, based on customers’ needs and interests., • Demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders., • Provide customers with product samples as needed., • Participate in industry organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows, • Coordinate with the Equipment Service Team as needed, • Perform administrative duties, such as preparing reports, keeping account activity sales records, and filing personal business expense reports., • Train customers’ employees on new brewing techniques and how to operate and maintain new equipment., • Prepare equipment specifications for new customers including analyzing new accounts potential usage and equipment needs. Performs other related duties as assigned. SKILLS & ABILITIES Experience: 5+ years of related foodservice beverage specific sales experience. Education: Associate degree in Business Administration or related field preferred Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Language: Well-developed verbal and written English communication skills.
