About the Role We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in Northern Florida. This role is ideal for a clinician who enjoys building long-term patient relationships, practicing evidence-based medicine, and working collaboratively with physicians and care teams to improve outcomes across diverse communities. Key Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients across the lifespan (scope dependent on certification and clinic model), • Conduct patient histories, physical exams, and health risk assessments, • Diagnose and manage acute conditions (e.g., URIs, minor injuries) and chronic diseases (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, CHF, COPD, asthma), • Deliver preventive care: annual wellness visits, screenings, immunizations, and lifestyle counseling, • Order, interpret, and follow up on labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies, • Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with Florida regulations and clinic protocols, • Perform routine in-office procedures (based on training/comfort level), such as:, • Suturing or wound care, • Skin lesion evaluation/biopsies (if credentialed), • Joint injections, • I&D, EKG interpretation, splinting, • Coordinate referrals and collaborate with specialists, care coordinators, and behavioral health resources, • Document clinical encounters accurately and efficiently in the EHR, • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team huddles/case reviews as needed Qualifications • Active APRN licensure (or eligibility) in the state of Florida, • Graduation from an accredited NP program (MSN or DNP), • National certification (e.g., FNP, AGNP, or other relevant board certification), • Current BLS (ACLS preferred depending on setting), • DEA registration (or ability to obtain) and prescriptive authority per state requirements, • Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a commitment to compassionate care Preferred (Nice to Have) • 1+ years of primary care, urgent care, or family medicine experience (new grads considered based on role), • Experience with value-based care, population health, or quality metrics, • Comfort working with diverse patient populations and complex comorbidities, • Spanish proficiency or experience serving multilingual communities (varies by location), • Telehealth experience Work Environment & Schedule • Outpatient clinic setting (typically weekdays; some roles may include occasional evenings/weekends), • Team-based model with support from physicians, nurses, MAs, and care coordination staff, • Patient volumes and visit types vary by site (preventive care, chronic care, same-day access) Compensation & Benefits • Competitive salary + performance incentives (productivity and/or quality-based), • Sign-on bonus and relocation support (where applicable), • Medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans About Flexzo AI Flexzo AI is a specialist healthcare talent partner dedicated to connecting exceptional clinicians with forward-thinking and independent healthcare services across the US.
