This is a full-time, on-site role for an Industrial Seamstress located in Ontario, CA. The Industrial Seamstress will be responsible for various day-to-day tasks including operating industrial sewing machines to sew and assemble various aerospace materials. The role also involves customer service, where interacting with clients and addressing their specific needs is paramount. The work environment is dynamic and requires a keen eye for detail and craftsmanship.Key Responsibilities • Operate industrial sewing machines to sew and assemble various aerospace materials., • Read and interpret work orders and blueprints to determine job specifications., • Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards and precision are met., • Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot sewing machine issues., • Interact with clients and address specific needs as part of customer service duties.Required Qualifications, • Proven experience with industrial sewing machines., • Strong attention to detail and precision., • Ability to read and interpret work orders and blueprints., • Good customer service and communication skills., • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site environment., • High school diploma or equivalent.Preferred Qualifications, • Vocational training in sewing or related fields is an advantage., • Experience with aerospace materials.Additional Requirements, • Willingness to work long hours and weekends when needed to meet critical deadlines, • Willingness to travel to customers’ locations or other Hera sites as needed, • Ability to use a computer and most common software programs to complete assignments
