As a member of our driving team, some of your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: -Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order. -Coordinate with management and assist team members with loading and unloading steel from trucks. -Inspect loads to ensure that cargo is secure and accurate. -Maintain logs of vehicle service or repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations. -Secure cargo for transport, using ropes, blocks, binders, or covers. -Follow appropriate safety procedures for transporting products and do delivery on a daily basis. -Communicate with customers regarding order issues. -Assist in the manual offloading of material when necessary -Administer paperwork to clients accurately and properly -Assist in any and all yard operations when not on delivery Requirements: Hold Commercial Driver’s License (Class B or higher) Previous driving experience in flat bed required (knowledge using a boom strongly preferred). Follow flexible schedule.
