Job Description Network & Capacity Analyst Location: Remote Reports To: Director, Supply & Network Planning Role Overview Owns the modeling, analytics, and forward-looking insights that enable effective supply planning decisions. This role is responsible for capacity visibility, bottleneck identification, safety stock and inventory policy development, and network optimization. The Network & Capacity Analyst sets the guardrails that Supply Planners operate within and plays a critical role in supporting S&OP by providing clear, data-driven insights on risks, constraints, and trade-offs. Key Responsibilities Capacity Planning & Bottleneck Management • Develop and maintain capacity models across internal and external manufacturing partners, • Provide forward-looking visibility into capacity utilization and constraints (3–18 month horizon), • Identify bottlenecks across production, materials, and network flows, • Quantify impact of constraints and support mitigation strategies, • Own safety stock modeling and inventory policy development across finished goods, base and materials, • Define inputs including variability, service levels, and lead times, • Continuously refine inventory parameters based on performance and changing business needs, • Provide clear guardrails for Supply Planners to execute against, • Ensure alignment between inventory strategy and working capital targets, • Develop content and insights for supply review in S&OP, • Highlight capacity risks, bottlenecks, and inventory gaps, • Run scenario analysis to support decision making, • Quantify trade-offs across service, cost, and inventory, • Develop a clear understanding of current supply chain tools, files, and data flows across planning, procurement, and operations, • Document how data moves today (inputs, outputs, and key dependencies across systems and manual processes), • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and duplicate work across tools and reporting, and support efforts to streamline tools and simplify processes, • Improve data visibility, accuracy, and consistency across systems and reporting, • Develop dashboards and analytics to track key supply chain KPIs across service, cost, and inventory, • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities, translating data into actionable insights, • Analyze distribution network performance including DC placement and flows, • Develop deployment logic and optimization recommendations, • Model total delivered cost across manufacturing, transportation, and storage, • Support network design and footprint optimization decisions, • 2–5 years of experience in supply chain analytics, planning, or related role, • Strong Excel and data modeling skills (required), • Experience with ERP and data visualization tools (NetSuite, SAP, Tableau, etc.), • Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into business insights, • Capacity constraints are identified early with clear mitigation paths, • Safety stock and inventory policies are data-driven and effective, • Supply Planners operate within clear, optimized guardrails, • S&OP supply review is supported with clear, actionable insights, • Analytics drive better decisions across supply chain, • Highly analytical and structured thinker, • Translates complexity into clear insights, • Proactive and forward-looking, • Strong collaborator and influencer (without direct authority), • Continuously improves data, tools, and models
