Job DescriptionJob Description JOB DETAILS Base pay starts at $35.00 per hour Shift: Day Shift DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Driver will be expected to transport and deliver building materials to our dealers, distribution centers, residential customers and/or construction job sites using a tractor-trailer. This position requires a wide range of skills from practicing safe driving and delivery to top-notch customer service. We are an HVAC/R wholesale distributor throughout the Midwest and the Mountain States. We need people with the following qualities: • Have Attention to Detail with Driving– You will assist the warehouse manager in the operation of the daily deliveries of product around the local area. CDL B or higher is required. Experience driving Box Trucks and more, with the expectations of assisting in the load and unload of these trucks at both the warehouse and to our customers., • Warehouse Duties Include: Operating Forklifts (sit down, Reach Trucks, Order Pickers, etc), pulling product for Will Calls, organizing truck loads to their proper locations when trucks are received, using RF scanning technology for locating/picking product, and stocking small parts as needed., • Customer Focused – we are passionate about serving all of our customers, including dealers, business owners and large HVACR (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration) companies and consolidators. Job DescriptionNight Shift Lead / Forklift DriverChallenger PalletChallenger Pallet is looking for a dependable Night Shift Lead / Forklift Driver to oversee a small crew operating a pallet nailing machine and performing other production tasks. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys working independently, keeping production on track, and leading by example.Position OverviewThe Night Shift Lead works with a small team to safely and efficiently produce pallets during evening operations. This role includes operating a forklift, supporting the nailing machine, and serving as the primary point of responsibility on shift.Schedule • Night shift 3:30 - 8:00 PM, • Part-time (potentially becoming Full-Time as demand grows)Key Responsibilities, • Lead and support a small production crew on night shift, • Operate a forklift to move materials and finished pallets, • Assist with and monitor pallet nailing machine operations, • Ensure production goals, quality standards, and safety procedures are met, • Perform basic troubleshooting and communicate issues to management, • Maintain a clean and organized work area, • Oversee all operations during the evening shift, • Report to Plant Manager daily.Qualifications, • Forklift experience required (certification preferred), • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required, • Prior manufacturing, pallet, or lumber industry experience strongly preferred, • Leadership or lead experience is a plus, • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety, • Able to lift, stack, and work in a physical production environmentWhat We Offer, • Competitive pay based on experience, • Small-team environment where your role matters, • Opportunity to take ownership of the shift
