Job Summary The Warehouse Coordinator executes daily warehouse shipping operations, inventory control, and ensures accurate counting, movement, and documentation of full goods, packaging materials, and finished products. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling, coordinating with carriers and drivers, preparing shipping and receiving documentation, and ensuring timely and accurate receipt and dispatch of goods. The Warehouse Coordinator supports the shift supervisor in managing inventory, coordinating warehouse associates, and maintaining compliance with company and regulatory standards. The coordinator is accountable for inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and supporting audits and process improvements across all shipping and warehouse functions. Duties and Responsibilities • Coordinate and manage all inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely receipt and dispatch of materials and products., • Check in all inbound and outbound loads and drivers, verifying documentation and load accuracy., • Prepare and review shipping and receiving documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and shipment tags., • Track the status of shipments and resolve any discrepancies or delays, escalating issues to supervisors as needed., • Record and report trailer movements, drop lot activity, and dock utilization., • Conduct regular and cycle counts of full goods, packaging materials, and finished products, ensuring accuracy in physical and system records., • Apply and verify correct tags on all inventory items; ensure all pallets and partials have dust covers when required., • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, reporting issues to the supervisor, and implementing corrective actions., • Prepare for and participate in internal and external audits, including weekend work as necessary., • Organize and consolidate inventory to optimize storage and prepare for incoming shipments or production runs., • Assist in locating inventory items, including full goods, packaging, and materials, for internal departments and outgoing shipments., • Organize, prepare, or scrap damaged or hold inventory as directed., • Maintain cleanliness and organization of partial racks and warehouse storage areas., • Maintain open communication with the supervisor regarding discrepancies, hold materials, and operational issues, as well as support hourly associates, • Accurately complete all required paperwork and electronic records for inventory, shipments, and warehouse activities., • Enter data into warehouse management systems (WMS) and generate necessary reports, pallet tags, and bills of lading., • Adhere to company policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and all applicable regulatory requirements (OSHA, FDA, TTB, etc.)., • Follow all safety protocols and use required personal protective equipment (PPE)., • Support sanitation, pest control, and safety initiatives as directed., • Assist with inbound and outbound load check-in, driver coordination, and shipment documentation., • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support overall warehouse operations. Minimum Qualifications • High school diploma or GED required., • 1-2 years’ warehouse experience preferred; forklift experience a plus., • Ability to operate warehouse equipment and use handheld scanners., • Basic computer and math skills., • Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime., • Forklift certification is preferred (or ability to obtain).
