Job DescriptionLead the heartbeat of our Raleigh distribution hub Location: Raleigh Reports to: Distribution & Logistics Director FLSA: Non -Exempt Picture your day: you open the warehouse with a quick huddle, align the team on inbound receipts and outbound ship waves, check the KPI board, and ensure our fleet driver has a precise route for on-time deliveries. You move seamlessly from coaching your crew to jumping on a picker, packing a validated order, or confirming a hazmat label—whatever keeps product flowing to customers on schedule and at quality. What you will lead • Own the daily rhythm of receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping—keeping SOPs front and center., • Guide and support the warehouse team to consistently meet productivity, accuracy, safety, and service targets., • Oversee order fulfillment quality, including accurate packaging, labeling, documentation, and hazardous materials handling., • Maintain inventory integrity with correct storage, tracking, and routine cycle counts., • Monitor operational performance and produce regular reports on productivity, accuracy, and service levels., • Analyze data to spot trends, resolve bottlenecks, and fuel continuous improvement., • Drive process improvements that reduce waste and optimize workflow., • Set clear expectations, hold the team accountable, and cultivate a safe, values-driven culture., • Coach, train, and develop team members to build an engaged, high-performing operation., • When needed, jump in alongside the team to pick, pack, ship, and load/unload trucks., • Coordinate with and, as needed, oversee the fleet driver to ensure accurate, on-time deliveries. What you bring, • High school diploma or equivalent., • 5+ years in a warehouse or stockroom; prior leadership or supervisory exposure preferred., • Forklift certification highly preferred; willingness to obtain if not currently held., • Comfort with computers and scanning devices; familiarity with FedEx and UPS shipping programs is a plus., • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy., • Team-first mindset with the independence to solve problems efficiently., • Commitment to safety, with working knowledge of OSHA standards and compliance., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams)., • Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with firm deadlines. Physical requirements Physical Requirements: Perform the following tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation: • Operate a forklift, clamp devise, pallet jack, overhead crane devise and maintain OSHA forklift certification., • Frequently lift and carry packages up to 60 lbs., • Climb stairs and stand for extended periods throughout the shift., • Frequently bend and stoop to pick up packages., • Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare items for shipment., • Work involves prolonged standing and continuous movement during the shift., • Wear steel-toed safety shoes and other PPE as required., • Operate in a non–climate-controlled warehouse; temperatures vary by season.
