Job DescriptionJob Title: CNC Mill Machinist (1st Shift)Job Description We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist to join our dynamic machine shop. Our facility fabricates parts for oil and gas companies, focusing on bearings and seals for rotating equipment. You will work with a range of materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, babbitt, and exotic metals. The role involves CNC milling on both vertical and horizontal machines, utilizing 3, 4, and occasionally 5 axis machines, with a strong emphasis on using Haac controllers. Responsibilities • Operate CNC milling machines to fabricate parts according to specifications., • Work with part dimensions ranging from 1" ID to 36" OD and up to 12" in length., • Utilize vertical and horizontal milling machines with 3, 4, and 5 axis capabilities., • Program CNC machines at the workstation, focusing on mill machining., • Interpret blueprints and machine parts accurately., • Ensure quality control and precision in machining operations.Essential Skills, • Over 10 years of experience in CNC Machining., • Proficiency in mill machining on both vertical and horizontal mills., • Experience with 3/4 Axis machining and CNC programming at the machine., • Familiarity with G code and CAM software such as GibbsCAM and MasterCAM., • Experience with Haas and Fanuc controls.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Experience with 5 Axis machining is preferred., • Previous experience machining babbitt and working in a competing bearing shop.
