Job Description We are hiring a Field Project Manager to lead execution across our highway and heavy civil infrastructure projects. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in the field — not behind a desk. You’ll take ownership of projects involving drainage systems, guide rail/bridge rail, and concrete demolition, working across active DOT corridors. We are a well-established contractor with decades of experience delivering complex, high-stakes infrastructure work. With a strong pipeline of DOT projects and continued growth, this role offers the opportunity to make a visible impact on field operations, team performance, and project delivery. Requirements • Demonstrated experience managing field crews on highway, civil, or heavy infrastructure projects — you know how to lead people, not just schedule them, • Comfort navigating DOT-regulated project environments: documentation requirements, safety protocols, and public agency expectations are familiar territory, • A superintendent's instincts paired with a project manager's discipline — someone who can be in the field and in front of a schedule at the same time, • Experience in any combination of drainage/utility, bridge/guide rail, or concrete demolition is a genuine advantage; candidates from adjacent highway civil backgrounds will be considered, • Estimating familiarity is a plus, not a dealbreaker — the right field leader who can grow into bid support is equally compelling to this client, • Ability and willingness to travel overnight; projects are distributed across a wide geography and this role requires presence on the ground, • Valid driver's license; clean driving record What You'll Do • Lead field execution across multiple highway and civil infrastructure projects from mobilization through closeout, • Manage and supervise field crews across multiple job sites, • Oversee daily operations including:, • Labor coordination, • Subcontractor management, • Safety compliance, • Field decision-making, • Ensure projects stay on schedule, within scope, and meet quality standards, • Identify opportunities to improve field efficiency and execution, • Communicate regularly with internal teams on project status, costs, and schedule updates, • Participate in pre-construction planning, • Support estimating efforts for upcoming bids (projects up to ~$4M), if applicable, • Competitive salary (based on experience), • Performance-based incentives / bonus potential, • 100% employer-paid medical insurance, • Health Savings Account (HSA), • 401(k) retirement plan, • Profit-sharing program, • Company vehicle provided for project-related travel, • Direct access to leadership in a collaborative, high-impact environment
