A high regard for customer service for the flight crews and passengers of privately owned aircraft must be maintained. Job Duties Performs all duties associated with day to day activities of the front counter to include: • Acknowledge all pilots or customers upon entering or leaving facility, • Ensure ramp access security, • Take fuel and service requests, • Ensure all requests are completed, • Close service orders to include payment via credit card, cash, or check, • Know and understand Wilson Air Center discounts and pricing, • Procure rental cars, hotel accommodations, and catering for pilots, flight crews, and customers, • Take customer requests via internet, phone, and airinc, • Verify information in the FBO Manager system upon arrival or departure, • Maintain a clean working environment, • Responsible for courtesy bar including making sure that coffee, tea, and supplies are available at all times, • Maintain a professional environment including a professional appearance and attitude Additional duties to include • Housekeeping duties, • Uplifting gallons for special giveaways Physical Demands and Work Environment Must be able to lift and carry 70-lbs from floor to waist level or higher on a continuous basis if required; able to perform repetitive tasks and motions, including bending at the waist and knees, standing, sitting, squatting, kneeling, crawling, and twisting for extended amounts of time. Job DescriptionDescription: Position: Assistant Banquet Manager Reports To: Clubhouse Manager Supervises: Banquet Captains and Servers, Palm Grille Pool Cafe Servers (seasonal) Job Summary: Responsible for the set-up and execution of special events. Manages and supervises the service of member and guest events in banquet rooms. Supervises and trains banquet staff, maintains order and cleanliness in all banquet rooms; assures that guests expectations are met or exceeded. Will also work as Poolside Dining Supervisor as assigned. Able to have work - life balance as part of a collaborative team. Essential Functions: • Plans event set-up based upon anticipated member/guest counts and client needs, and prepares event set up sheets to be distributed to staff before set-up begins, • Greets and seats members and guests, • Carefully supervises staff to help assure proper service, • Inspects banquet employees to ensure that they are in proper and clean uniforms at all times, • Trains, supervises and evaluates service staff, • Provides appropriate reports concerning employee hours, schedules and job changes., • Receives and resolves complaints concerning food, beverages, and service, • Serves as liaison between the service and kitchen staff, • Assures that all side work is accomplished and that all cleaning of equipment and storage areas is completed according to schedule, • Directs pre-shift meetings with service staff. Relays information and policy changes and briefs staff, • Assures the correct appearance, cleanliness and safety of event areas, equipment and fixtures. Must be able to work with others on the line and communicate effectively with Guest Service Experts (GSE) and managers in a busy restaurant environment, • Ensure all food items are rung in prior to preparing orders; but be flexible to verbal instructions being called back (sometimes GSEs or guests get the order wrong from intake – we are all human), • Have pride in maintaining cleanliness of kitchen floors, equipment and counters at all times with the use of company approved cleaning products, • Operate large cooking equipment such as grills and deep fryers; must be capable of using knives and slicing equipment with proper PPE, • Follow checklists and proven systems to set up, stock and close the kitchen, • Learn new recipes and procedures to support marketing promotions, • Assist GSEs in managing dining room cleanliness and efficient food delivery, and other duties as assigned by management, • No experience necessary – we build better skills!
