BronxWorks is seeking one Program Specialist to join a diverse and enthusiastic team at Cooper Gardens, a multi building supportive housing program located in the Bronx, NY (walking distance to Arthur Avenue.) Cooper Gardens provides services and permanent housing to 95 formerly homeless households, consisting of both individuals and families with children. The ideal candidate is passionate about teamwork, has some experience in office and administrative support, and has an interest in working with the populations we serve. Job Description The Director of Major Gifts will provide strategic leadership in securing significant philanthropic support for the museum. Overseeing a growing team of Major Gift Officers, the Director will develop and implement a comprehensive major gifts strategy to grow and manage a portfolio of donors capable of contributing six figures and above to the Whitney. They will be responsible for guiding and coaching MGOs in effective moves management while also managing a portfolio of high-level donors. This position will report to the Chief Advancement Officer. RHI seeks a dynamic and mission-driven Assistant Director of Youth Development & Socio-Emotional Learning (YD & SEL) to lead high-quality programming that fosters academic success, emotional wellness, and leadership among Red Hook youth ages 11 to 18. Reporting to the Senior Director of YD & SEL, the Assistant Director oversees after-school, summer, and Freedom Schools initiatives and ensures alignment with RHI's broader youth development goals. In this leadership role, the Assistant Director ensures program excellence, staff development, and youth outcomes across all middle and high school initiatives, bridging daily operations with strategic program goals and serving as a key thought partner to the Senior Director. Job Description The Coordinator of Corporate Giving provides administrative and project support to the Corporate Partnerships team with the solicitation of companies for Corporate Membership/Sponsorship, including correspondence, letter and proposal preparation, mailings, customer relations and stewardship, benefit fulfillment, gift processing, marketing, reporting, and event planning. This is a four-month engagement for up to 35 hours a week. Primary Responsibilities: • Coordinate and administer general correspondence, mailings, acknowledgments, invoicing, gift processing, database maintenance, and events., • Oversee/coordinate benefits fulfillment for active sponsors., • Delivery of guest passes, catalogues, corporate courtesy cards, and invitations., • Coordinating on-site tours, programs, and events., • Coordinate and oversee guided tours of exhibitions for Corporate Members., • Oversee calendar of corporate grant application and reporting deadlines., • Assist in the development of proposals for program support funding., • Maintain all filing systems (electronic and physical) for Corporate Membership and for the department., • Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate experience; Art History, Arts Management, Business/Marketing preferred, • Up to 2 years' experience in nonprofit advancement; experience in museums or cultural institutions a plus, • Strong administrative and organizational skills highly recommended, • Advanced computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), • Expected to have flexible hours for special projects that have certain deadlines, • High demand for administrative services is expected, • Hourly rate of $34.30, • Commuter benefits - parking and mass transit, • Admission to world-renowned museums across the city and nationally About the Whitney: The Whitney Museum of American Art, founded in 1930 by the artist and philanthropist Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney, houses the foremost collection of American art from the twentieth and twenty-first centuries.
