We are looking for outgoing and experienced Hosts, Hostesses and Greeters to join us on our mission to turn the ordinary into extraordinary. To be successful as a Host/Hostess/Greeter for the Electric Shuffle Team, you will be responsible for the following on a daily basis: • Greeting each guest and social group with enthusiasm, guiding them through a seamless check in process., • Providing accurate wait times, direction, and venue details to our guests., • Escorting guests and groups to dining, bar and/or shuffleboard areas., • Introducing guests to the shuffleboard experience through a detailed tour of the gameplay and setup., • Maintaining consistent communication with all employees on shift to ensure operational flow., • Overseeing and updating the reservation system throughout each shift., • Engaging with guests, employees and management with service-minded enthusiasm., • Thanking each departing guest and group for visiting the venue, catering each salutation to fit the guest experience., • Being fun, enthusiastic and exuding lots of energy throughout each shift., • Bringing the infamous Austin vibe to our service model and creating the perfect Electric Shuffle experience., • Being able to work as part of a team, delivering consistent service with an attention to detail, even when under pressure, • Possessing excellent organizational skills. Job Description Come join our F&B team as a full-time Server Assistant for our Carillon Restaurant- PM SHIFT! We are AT&T Hotel and Conference Center located in the heart of UT Campus, Hook 'em! We are looking for both Full-Time availability, Tuesday-Saturday 2-10PM. Principle Responsibilities & Position Purpose: Assist restaurant service staff by setting and clearing tables as required. *Scroll down to see how to apply directly with COMPASS Group. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Bus tables according to standard, including removing dirty plates, glasses, dishes, silverware, teapots, coffeepots and other serving dishes from tables. Primary role is cleaning and resetting tables during meal periods., • Clean debris from tables, floors, chairs and side stations throughout shift, using proper equipment, cloths and sanitizer., • Assist servers in providing Platinum service by completing such task as refilling beverages, pre-bussing plates, bread and butter service, ascertaining drink orders, delivering checks, etc…, • Stock side stations with proper amounts of silverware, napkins, glasses, cups, condiments, etc., • Carefully, safely, and properly stack heavy trays., • Clean service station and sweep/mop/vacuum floors periodically or when instructed., • Assist in preparing floral decorations on periodic basis., • Prepare dish pit for service in the absence of a steward., • Assist greeter in setting up tables, greeting guests, pulling out chairs, answering phone etc…, • Reset tables to Flik standard. At end of shift, turn tables to dinner or breakfast set-up, depending on station., • Set up receptacles for trash and dirty linen., • Transport clean and soiled linens as required., • Complete opening and closing side work as instructed.
