Primary Responsibilities: • Facilitate fun, age-appropriate group activities for learners with autism, • Prepare materials needed for group activities when necessary, • Support learners in practicing a variety of social skills, • Create a positive, welcoming, and structured environment where all learners feel safe and supported, • Model appropriate social behavior and coach learners duringin-the-momentt social situations, • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to implement program goals and identify appropriate activities, • Follow behavior support strategies and safety procedures consistently, • Effectively communicate with parents regarding learner successes, • Maintain effective communication with team members and supervisors, • Participate in staff meetings and trainings about the program, • Respond to and report emergencies in accordance with Alpine Learning Group policies and procedures, • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment during sessions Qualifications: • High School Diploma (Associates and above preferred), • Strength and agility to actively engage with learners during a variety of activities, • Valid NJ Driver's License required Schedule: Part Time - Monday-Friday 3:45 pm-6:15 pm Up to 10 hours/week Salary: Staring at $19 Alpine Learning Group is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace environment.
