We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daycare Caregiver Assistant to join our close-knit team. Responsibilities: Provide attentive care and supervision to children, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Assist with daily routines, including feeding, napping, and diaper changes. Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks. Maintain a clean and organized daycare space, including regular cleaning and sanitizing. Support children with educational activities, tutoring, and age-appropriate learning experiences. Engage children in fun and educational games, crafts, and outdoor activities. Assist in planning and implementing educational and recreational programs. Follow all daycare policies and procedures to ensure a safe and supportive environment. Qualifications: No formal qualifications required, but experience working with children is a plus. Must pass a background check. Completion of a tuberculosis test is required. Must complete online training courses as mandated by the Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) within several months of hiring. These trainings are brief and can be done after being hired. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are actively seeking coaches, college students, and youth development specialists to join our dynamic team of recess, after-school coaches, and activity specialists from October 2024 through June 2025. As a valued member of Kids in the Game, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our school programming, which focuses on incorporating educational and engaging sports and fitness classes during the traditional after-school hours. The Regional Sub role is designed for someone who can be both a recess coach and an after school coach. Our regional subs would be responsible for working 2-3 days per week, preferably between 9-6pm. They would be assigned to “home base” locations for a recess site in the morning (9am-1pm) and an after school site in the afternoon (2-6pm) within their designated region. - The current regions for coverage are Manhattan & Bronx, Queens & Brooklyn, or Manhattan & Brooklyn. - If there is a coach absent at another program, the Regional Sub will be reassigned to cover their recess and / or after school programs if it’s within their region. The boroughs you would travel to would be established during the onboarding process. - Regional subs would be working closely with our Program Management Team and Scheduling Manager to ensure available shifts are covered, and the on-site expectations at each location are met for the program type. - Regional Subs would implement a series of age-appropriate group games and activities across programs for children and young adults from Pre-K to middle school. - Typically, our coaches work anywhere from 2-3 days and 10-20 hours per week (depending on availability and skill set) at a competitive hourly rate. Position Responsibilities: - Commit to a weekly schedule of recess & after school (5-8 hours per day, 2-3 days per week) at assigned schools located in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and the Bronx. - Demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills to respond quickly to our scheduling team and stay flexible with scheduling changes. - Travel within two boroughs each day to support different programs and lead sports / fitness activities. - Lead age-appropriate lessons for kids ages 4-13 in our after school programs. - Implement a curriculum of engaging, skill-based activities that can be adapted to children’s various learning styles and developmental needs. - Display patience and utilize positive behavior management skills to manage children’s behaviors and respond to their needs.

Our family is looking for a caring and reliable full time housekeeper, who will clean, cook, organize and also assist caring for our one-year-old baby girl.  Location: Forest Hills New York Position Type: Full-time Effective Date: 1 January 2025 or earlier Payment - includes accommodation (1 bathroom + 1 bedroom private entrance new basement apartment with kitchen, all amenities plus internet included) plus $2,000 per month. Key Responsibilities - Provide cleaning and organizing of the house, including cooking main meals - drop and pick up baby from day care/school and provide care for the 1 year old baby, including feeding, diapering, dressing, and bathing, when required. - Follow a consistent daily routine that includes naptime, meal times, and playtime. - take baby to classes and group activities - ensure the baby’s environment is safe and clean, including regular cleaning of toys and play areas. - Perform household tasks, such as preparing and cooking meals, cleaning dishes, cleaning bedroom and doing laundry - Maintain the house living areas in an organized and tidy manner. Qualifications and Skills - Previous experience in cleaning, cooking and organizing houses and caring for infants and toddlers is required. - ⁠Relevant certifications in First Aid and CPR. - ⁠a background check will be conducted. - ⁠Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergencies effectively. - ⁠Patience, pro-activity, resilience, flexibility, and a nurturing attitude.
