School Nurse Practitioner Supervisor (must speak Spanish)

Annual Salary: $130k – $165k (varies depending on years of experience) We are seeking a skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) Supervisor to lead our client’s school-based health team. In this supervisory role, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to students, ensuring compliance with regulations and fostering a culture of excellence in care. A valid Medicare/Medicaid credential is required to ensure access to care for underserved populations. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the school-based health team, including Nurse Practitioners and support staff., • Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations for team members., • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations, including Medicare/Medicaid guidelines., • Support staff in conducting comprehensive health assessments, diagnosing, and managing student health conditions., • Act as a clinical resource for complex cases and provide second opinions when needed., • Monitor the quality of care provided, implementing improvements as necessary., • Develop and implement health programs to meet the needs of the student population, including preventive care and health education initiatives., • Collaborate with school administrators, counselors, and community partners to enhance the school’s health services., • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to coordinate care and address student needs., • Ensure accurate and timely documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems., • Prepare and review reports on service delivery, compliance, and quality improvement initiatives., • Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program., • Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in NY., • Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP)., • Medicare/Medicaid credentialing required., • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role., • Experience in school-based health settings or pediatric care preferred., • Strong leadership and management skills, including team-building and conflict resolution., • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with staff, students, and families. — Atlas Search is a tri-state area recruitment agency, connecting new graduates, Advanced Practice Providers, Physicians and Nurse Leaders to hospitals, clinics, multi-specialty groups, nursing homes, managed care companies, private practices, and healthcare start-ups.
