Position Overview: As we expand, we’re looking for an HR & Talent Specialist, Operations to provide HR and recruiting support to our Operations organization. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, Operations, this role will independently manage routine employee relations matters, lead full-cycle recruitment for assigned Operations positions, and support employee engagement, retention, and workplace safety initiatives. This position will work closely with employees, hiring managers, and HR partners to address workforce needs and deliver a positive employee and candidate experience. Location: This position is onsite and requires regular travel between Hidden Level locations in the Syracuse area. Responsibilities: • Serve as a key HR resource for Operations employees and leaders regarding attendance, conduct, workplace concerns, and employment practices., • Independently manage routine employee relations matters, interpret and consistently apply HR policies, and recommend appropriate actions., • Conduct assigned workplace investigations and support performance and corrective-action processes by gathering information, documenting findings, and recommending resolutions., • Partner with the HR Business Partner, Operations to implement HR initiatives and escalate complex, sensitive, or high-risk employee matters., • Analyze workforce and recruiting data, employee concerns, and exit interview feedback to identify trends and recommend improvements to hiring, engagement, and retention., • Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned Operations positions, including developing recruiting strategies, posting jobs, sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and supporting offers., • Partner with hiring managers to define position requirements, establish priorities, evaluate candidates, and determine who advances through the interview process., • Provide a positive and consistent candidate experience from initial contact through offer acceptance and onboarding., • Partner with Operations and EHS leadership to promote employee well-being and workplace safety, including participating in the Safety Committee and supporting safety communications, return-to-work matters, and accommodation processes., • Maintain accurate employee and recruiting documentation and use HR systems and reporting tools to track and analyze workforce information., • Collaborate with the HR team to implement company-wide programs, improve HR and recruiting processes, and support organizational initiatives., • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee and candidate information with discretion., • Assist with additional HR projects and initiatives as assigned. What We’re Looking For: • Strong communication, relationship-building, recruiting, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving skills., • Sound judgment and the ability to evaluate information, consistently apply HR policies, develop recommendations, and recognize when escalation is appropriate., • Ability to independently balance recruiting, employee relations, and broader HR priorities in a fast-paced environment., • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field., • Two or more years of human resources or talent acquisition experience, preferably supporting manufacturing, healthcare, production, operations, or another frontline workforce., • Experience independently handling employee relations matters, interpreting HR policies, conducting workplace investigations, and developing recommendations for leadership., • Experience recruiting for manufacturing, production, supply chain, logistics, quality, healthcare, or other operational roles., • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices., • Experience using applicant tracking systems, HRIS platforms, and reporting tools., • Ability to travel approximately 10%. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience supporting aerospace, defense, technology manufacturing, or another highly regulated industry., • Experience participating in safety committees or partnering with EHS teams to support workplace safety initiatives., • Experience recruiting in a fast-paced or high-growth environment. Compensation and Benefits: Hidden Level offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid parental leave, flexible time off, 401(k) with employer contributions, life insurance, disability insurance, and potential stock options. Salary Range: The salary range for this position is estimated at $70,000 to $85,000 annually. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
