His practice of 25 years provides comprehensive medical care, integrating general primary care with specialized evaluation and treatment of sports-related conditions. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of clinical experience, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic. Scope of Practice for Stephen Badolato, MD • Board certified Family Medicine Fellowship trained in Sports Medicine/Non- operative Orthopedics, • Primary Care: Managed Care, • Sports Medicine: Non-operative Orthopedics (athletes,injuries, • Auto Accidents and Workers Comp: Follow-up visits from the Urgent Care, • Immigration PhysicalsClinical responsibilities, • Greet patients and escort them to exam rooms, • Obtain and document vital signs, (blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, respiration), • Record patient history, chief complaint, and update EMR., • Assist with physical exams minor procedures when care enjoy injections, • Apply and remove braces response and other Orthopedic devices, • Perform EKG, visions screenings,peak flow and other diagnostic tests, • Administer injections (vaccines, medications) as directed by provider, • Perform venipuncture and prepare specimens for lab testingSports Medicine Specific Tasks, • Provide pre-participation physical support (health history), • Support rehabilitation plans by assisting with range of motion or strength assessments, • Assist in fitting and education on athletics supports and braces, • Help coordinate imaging (x-rays, MRIs) and follow-up careAdministrative Responsibilities, • Schedule patient appointments and follow-ups, • Call in prescriptions and obtain prior authorizations, • Maintain patient records and ensure accurate charting in chart, • Respond to Patient messages referral requests and test results under provider Direction, • Monitor and restock clinical supplies and exam roomsCompliance and Safety, • Follow infection control and HIPAA protocols, • Ensure equipment is clean and maintained (autolave)Key Responsibilities:, • Obtain vital signs, medical histories, and perform point-of-care testing, • Administer medications and injections under provider direction, • Prepare and clean exam rooms between patients, • Perform EKGs, rapid tests, and specimen collection as needed, • Accurately document patient information, • Supportive, team-oriented clinic culture, • Opportunity for long-term growthRequirements:, • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting, • Current BLS certification, • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, • Supportive, team-oriented clinic culture, • Opportunity for long-term growth
