Job Description Sales Manager State Farm Insurance Agency (Arty Pagan, Melbourne, FL) Salary Range: $75,000 $115,000 (Base + Commission/Bonuses) Location: Melbourne / Viera, FL (Brevard County). Employment Type: In Office position, Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking a Sales Manager / Team Leader who is passionate, goal-oriented, and ready to grow with us. As the Sales Manager for the Arty Pagan agency, you will lead, coach, and inspire a team of licensed insurance producers and sales/renewal staff. Youll work hands-on to drive business growth, improve sales results, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Youll be a key partner to the Agent/Owner in shaping strategy, training, accountability, and performance management. Key responsibilities include but not limited to: • Lead, mentor, and develop a sales team (licensed producers, account managers), • Establish and monitor performance metrics, sales goals, pipelines, and KPIs, • Participate in recruiting, onboarding, licensing support, and training new staff, • Monitor production, retention, cross-sell, upsell, and customer service metrics, • Provide coaching, performance reviews, feedback, and corrective plans, • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and customer service teams, • Help design and execute promotional sales campaigns, lead gen, and referral strategies, • Assist with licensing, contracts, regulatory compliance, and training oversight, • Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services, • Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed, • Proven experience in sales management, preferably in insurance, financial services, or a comparable field, • Experience coaching, mentoring, or leading a sales or production team, • Strong sales acumen, goal orientation, and ability to drive results, • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, • Data-driven mindset: able to analyze metrics, dashboards, and adjust course, • Self-motivated, resilient, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, • Licensed in property & casualty, • Licensed or will to be in life & health insurance, • Familiarity with State Farm agency systems preferred, • Prior experience in multi-line insurance (auto, home, life, health, business) preferredAt Arty Pagan State Farm, we believe in rewarding performance and supporting our teams growth and well-being.
