American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Lansing, Michigan. • Specialty: ED - Emergency Department, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: 12/09/2025, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 48 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, nights, • Employment Type: Travel American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a Level I Trauma Center in Michigan with required trauma and pediatric certifications. • Work in the Emergency Department of a Level I Trauma, Stroke, and Heart Center, • Treats adult and pediatric patients in a high-acuity, high-volume environment, • Patient ratios are 1:5-6, and may reach up to 1:8 during peak times and holidays, • Night shifts, four 12-hour shifts per week (19:00–07:30), • Weekend requirement is three weekends (Friday–Sunday) per four-week schedule; may include one, two, or all three days, • Floating required, including possible assignments to pediatric emergency, • No on-call responsibilities, • Uses Epic EMR, with Epic experience preferred, • Locals are accepted at the same rate, • Responsible for emergency care of diverse patient populations with varying acuity, including critical trauma and pediatric patients, • Continuous IV and procedural sedation, and triage experience preferred, • Must be willing to work two of three major holidays; one holiday off may be requested, but cannot request both the day of and the eve/day after a holiday, • All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of application; maximum five days allowed, • RTO is blocked during specified peak times, • Required to complete facility modules prior to start, with orientation provided on Epic EMR, • Returning staff must wait at least 12 months before reapplying, • Active MI RN license required by start date; compact licenses not accepted, • Current ACLS, BLS (AHA), PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required; ENPC preferred, • Minimum two years of recent ER experience in a Level I Trauma Center required, • Experience in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required, • Proof of high school education required, • Epic charting experience preferred, • First-time travelers will be considered, • High Pay and Bonuses, • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options, • 401(k) Plan, • Weekly Payroll Deposit, • Free Online CEUs, • Generous Housing Allowance, • Travel and Licensure Reimbursements, • Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy, • Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID #P-636641.
