Job Description Job Title: General Production Worker Job Description Join our team as a Production Operator or Material Handler, where you will be at the heart of engine assembly and logistics. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for the assembly and disassembly of engines, conducting leak tests, and applying coolant. As a Material Handler, you will operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in a fast-paced warehousing and shipping environment. Responsibilities • Assemble and disassemble engines., • Perform leak tests and apply coolant to engine components., • Operate fork trucks, tuggers, and cherry pickers to move engines., • 2+ years of experience in a production or warehouse environment., • 1+ years of experience in machine operation and/or forklift/Hi-Lo operation., • High School Diploma or GED., • Capability to lift engines repetitively throughout the shift., • Experience with inventory management and general production. The facility operates across various shifts, offering flexibility to suit different lifestyles. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holt, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $18.25/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
