Job Description Surpass Industrial, LLC is seeking a senior-level sales professional to lead and drive the growth of our Commercial and Industrial Vacuum division across North America. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy to expand market share, strengthen distribution channels, and establish scalable growth. This role will take ownership of the commercial and industrial vacuum product line while collaborating closely with company leadership, warehouse operations, marketing, finance, and customer support to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction. The position will support overall company growth objectives while focusing specifically on building and scaling the vacuum division. The selected candidate will actively develop new business opportunities, strengthen dealer partnerships, conduct equipment demonstrations, participate in trade shows and industry events, and work directly with end users where appropriate. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Sales Management Develop and manage sales goals within the business unit across Dealer, Distributor, Strategic Account, Government, End User, and Alternative Channel segments through the following key activities: • Develop annual sales objectives and strategies aligned with company growth goals, • Develop and manage regional business plans, • Ensure full geographic, segment, and product offering coverage across North America, • Establish timetables with key actions and resource plans, • Resolve sales issues, product service issues, equipment-related issues, and dealer/distributor concerns in a timely and effective manner, • Travel throughout the sales territory, • Maintain a schedule that supports the development and growth of all facets of the business, including dealers, distributors, national accounts, and end users, • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date customer database, • Integrate daily sales call activity into Salesforce.com, • Make daily sales calls on key end users to drive new project starts and increase market share, • Develop and execute the North America market strategy for the commercial and industrial vacuum portfolio, • Conduct structured business plan reviews at defined intervals with internal leadership, dealers, distributors, and key end users to assess performance and drive continuous improvement, • Directly manage and grow high-priority strategic accounts and key dealer/distributor partners, • Identify, develop, and lead cross-selling initiatives across Surpass product lines and business units, • Provide ongoing product and application training to internal stakeholders, dealers, and end users to support adoption and sales growth., • Drive coordinated cross-border sales efforts across North America to ensure unified market execution, • Develop and manage targeted prospect lists, coordinating field visits, demonstrations, and customer engagement strategies, • Support and strengthen strategic accounts, government, and alternative channel sales initiatives, • Partner with internal stakeholders and dealer/distributor partners to develop territory growth strategies and expand customer reach, • Review and support the onboarding and ongoing management of dealer and distributor relationships, including agreements, expectations, and performance standards, • Drive dealer engagement and loyalty to strengthen market penetration and increase adoption and preference for the vacuum portfolio, • Evaluate dealer/distributor performance and recommend network expansion, optimization, or realignment as needed to support long-term growth objectives, • Support resolution of dealer and customer issues in coordination with Customer Service and Technical Support teams, • Manage the sales pipeline and forecasting models to support revenue planning and business growth, • Manage travel planning and expenses in alignment with company guidelines and business priorities, • Manage and maintain demo equipment inventory levels, condition, and aging, • Support company initiatives related to market intelligence, marketing programs, and customer feedback efforts, • Report significant regional activity in a timely and effective manner, as it relates to:, • Regional performance versus sales goals, • Product performance, including successes and challenges, • Competitive activity and market intelligence, • Go-to-market strategy recommendations, • Dealer and customer issues, including Customer Service and Technical Support trends Education Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field is strongly preferred; significant relevant industry experience required. Experience 9+ years of progressive sales experience in industrial equipment, commercial vacuum cleaning equipment, or related B2B distribution environments, including experience working with dealer and distributor networks. Total annual earnings start at $100,000+, depending on experience, performance, and overall contribution to business growth. Exceptional performance may result in earnings above this range, as commission opportunities are uncapped.
