What You’ll Do: • Assist with neurological exams, diagnostics, and imaging procedures (MRI, CT, myelograms)., • Monitor anesthesia and assist with neurosurgeries and spinal procedures., • Provide attentive, compassionate nursing care to hospitalized and recovering patients., • Manage IV catheters, medications, and post-operative monitoring., • Support and educate clients with empathy and clear communication., • Maintain accurate medical records, inventory, and equipment organization., • Credentialed Veterinary Technician (RVT, CVT, or LVT) preferred, or experienced technician working toward licensure., • Minimum 2 years of veterinary technician experience, preferably experience with or strong interest in neurology, surgery, anesthesia, or emergency care., • Proficiency in advanced veterinary knowledge including restraint, diagnostic imaging, phlebotomy, venipuncture, anesthesia induction, monitoring, fluid therapy, drug calculations, laboratory equipment and procedures, pharmacology, disease processes, etc., • Ability to work calmly and efficiently in high-acuity situations.
