Job Description Food & Beverage Host/Hostess Job Description Department: Food & Beverage Hourly Rate: $6.00 Division: Clubhouse Supervisor: F&B Director Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include, but are not limited to, the following. • Greets members and guests., • Inspects all linens daily for proper appearance., • Suggests dining room decorations for special themes., • Assures that pre-opening and closing cleaning tasks are assigned and completed as required., • Manages the guest reservation system and a waiting list, if necessary., • Assists with service of food and beverages in outlets and for special functions when needed., • Assists with table clearing and re-setting as needed., • Suggests when additional service supplies and small equipment are needed., • Enforces established rules, regulations and policies., • Assists in dining room inventory assessments., • Suggestively sells daily specials to all members and guests., • Assures that local and state laws and the club’s policies and procedures for the service of alcoholic beverages are consistently followed., • Coordinates any special requests including dietary needs with the Executive Chef., • Completes other appropriate assignments made by the F&B Manager. Licenses and Special Requirements: § Food Safety certification. § Of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages. § TABC certification. Job DescriptionDescription: Duties & Responsibilities: Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: • Warmly greet all guests upon their arrival., • Open the front door for guests entering or leaving the restaurant when possible., • Inspect tables for proper presentation., • When the restaurant is on a wait for tables, record the guest’s information in the NoWait App and provide the guest with an estimated wait time., • Notify guests via the No Wait App when their table is ready., • Accommodate special seating requests whenever possible., • Make friendly conversation with guests as you walk them to their table., • Upon seating, offer guests a menu and inform them of the server’s name., • Handle food: chips and salsa, • Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
