Job Description Glenwild is a private members club located at Kimball Junction, Park City, just 25 minutes from Salt Lake City. We are looking for professional, energetic Host-Hostess to join our experienced F&B staff. As a Host-Hostess, you must be friendly, outgoing and possess good communication skills. The member's experience should be enjoyable and you play a major role in the overall picture. The Host-Hostess should be organized, able to think and act quickly and effectively while retaining self-composure; be member sensitive and possess a sense of timing required to handle the restaurant needs; and take pride in personal appearance while showing dedication to your job. Education and Experience: • At least 1 year previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a luxury private club, resort or high-end restaurant preferred but not required., • Able to work weekdays and weekend evenings. Ability to work any day of the week, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Extra consideration will be given to candidates with flexible availability., • Flexible and long hours sometimes required; long hours standing and/or walking, • Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly, • Must work well in stressful, high pressure situations, • Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure, • Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary, • Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by guests, • Must be able to read, speak and write in English, • Employee leads by example, consistently conveying a positive attitude, passion and pride in your work, • Approach all encounters with members, guests and fellow employees in a gracious, attentive, courteous and service-oriented manner, • Conduct, • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing proper attire and name tag when working, • Comply at all times with Glenwild standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient Club operations, • Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times, • Greet all members and guests warmly – locate their reservation if applicable – make note of special preferences – seat accordingly, • Ensure that all members and guests are wished a fond farewell upon their departure – no one should leave the dining areas without being offered a sincere 'thank you' and wishing them a good day (morning, afternoon or evening), • Ensure menus are immaculate, accurate and kept orderly – be proactive in coordinating printing with concierge as needed
