Job DescriptionThis position requires the Hostess to greet guests at the door, seats and presents clean menus to guest in a friendly, professional and quick manner. It also requires the Host to interact with, entertain, and provide best in class service and hospitality to every Ojos Locos guest. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Adhering to all Image & Costume guidelines, • Greets and seats guests, presents menus to guests, informs them of special catch and soups., • Treats all guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. Always strives to exceed guests' expectations., • Takes names on a waiting list., • Runs the floor plan board., • Observes tables and keeps track of clean, dirty and occupied tables., • Takes guest information and quotes wait times to guests accurately when tables are not immediately available., • Cleans, organizes and stocks menus at host area., • Answers phone and answers questions concerning the menu and restaurant., • Interacts with guests as they arrive and as they leave the restaurant to ensure positive dining experience., • Fills to-go orders, if applicable., • Sweeps foyer and front entrance area frequently., • Performs other duties as directed.

Hostess plays a critical role in the restaurant as they are the one who give our guests the first and the last impression of the restaurant and a large part of the nights effectiveness is orchestrated from hostess able to run a smooth shift.

There is one subordinate supervisor reporting directly to this position, which is the Crew Leader, which would also include crew and host/hostess.
