Job Description Imagine your day at Airtron You grab your organized, well-stocked service vehicle and head to your first stop: a homeowner who woke up to a chilly house. You greet them with a smile, slip on protective floor savers over your footwear, diagnose the issue, and bring the system back to life. You log your work on your tablet, talk through what you did with both the customer and dispatch, tidy up the work area, and roll on to the next call—confident, prepared, and supported by an office team that has your back. What you'll tackle • Deliver expert maintenance and repair on residential heating and air conditioning equipment, under the guidance of a Service Supervisor and Operations Management., • Inspect ducting and keep company tools/materials in top, serviceable condition., • Identify, wire, start up, and commission complete home comfort systems—recording results to confirm proper operation., • Troubleshoot issues methodically; recommend solutions; complete repairs to restore full functionality., • Perform start-ups and document test outcomes when necessary to verify performance., • Conduct thorough system inspections and promptly inform dispatch and the customer of any concerns or follow-ups., • Explain services and repairs clearly to both dispatch and the customer., • Coordinate daily schedules with the office and ensure parts are ordered and staged so every visit is prepared., • Transport parts, materials, and tools to job sites and accurately track assigned inventory., • Complete all required digital/paperwork neatly and on time using a tablet, laptop, or computer., • Debrief each call with dispatch and the customer, capturing the work performed and next steps., • Leave every workspace cleaner than you found it., • Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle inside and out., • Uphold our standards of performance and code of ethics while maintaining a courteous, professional demeanor., • Always use protective floor savers in customer homes and follow all safety policies and procedures., • Pitch in on other duties as assigned. What you bring, • High school diploma or GED., • 1+ year of residential HVAC service experience., • EPA Certification., • Proven soldering/brazing abilities., • Clear, professional communication—spoken and written English., • Comfort with basic computing: tablet/laptop use, internet, and Microsoft Outlook., • Valid driver's license., • Willingness to work overtime with short notice; occasional weekends. Preferred, • HVAC trade school credential., • 1–2 years in construction, HVAC, or closely related experience. Where and how you'll work, • Primarily in occupied homes and active construction sites, with minimal time in the office., • Daily travel by company vehicle between job locations., • Exposure to typical construction conditions: equipment, elevated work areas, confined spaces, noise, dust, odors, and hazardous materials., • Indoor and outdoor work in all weather (heat, rain, cold, wind) with appropriate PPE. Physical capabilities, • Operate a motorized passenger vehicle or forklift., • Lift and move up to 50 lbs frequently., • Regular climbing, bending, crawling, kneeling, and crouching., • Work at heights on ladders, stairways, and occasionally on platforms/scaffolding with required fall protection., • Wear required PPE: hard hat, safety glasses, ear protection, masks/respirators, reflective vests, gloves, and safety-toe construction boots., • Stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods., • Hear and distinguish speech and other sounds to safely operate phones/equipment., • Maintain near, far, and peripheral vision with normal depth perception (with or without correction)., • Communicate ideas clearly by spoken word., • Enter data on a tablet/computer via keyboard or 10-key keypad., • Use arms/hands to reach overhead; signal; grasp; hold; lift; turn; push and pull tools and materials., • Physical requirements may vary by location.
